Letter from the Executive Director

Dear Friends, Partners and Supporters:

Homes in Partnership, Inc. (HIP) has strived for 34 years to provide safe, decent and affordable housing and improve the economic conditions of distressed neighborhoods. As we look towards the future, HIP along with its partners, will address the needs of the Central Florida communities in which we serve.

In an effort to keep up with changing times, we have evolved into a corporation that takes great pride in providing families from all walks of life with a stable home. This empowers their children and future generations to keep the mission of home-ownership alive and well.

As we assess the economic development of neighborhoods (smart communities) our new endeavor will be an ongoing change. Future plans in South Apopka include New Horizons, a 56 single-family subdivision. New Horizons of Apopka, Inc. plans to construct a two-story commercial building, bringing needed services to this underserved community. Services will include medical offices, legal services, retail and professional businesses and an opportunity for small business entrepreneurs to acquire space and be a part of a changing community. This is an effort to bring to our community a sense of hope and a holistic approach to their needs. We look forward to “new horizons” in the future.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and families we serve, we thank all who have partnered with us to help make a difference. We appreciate your continued support.

Sincerely,

H. Lewis Kellom
Executive Director
